ydkj1I have fond memories of the You Don't Know Jack games from the mid 1990s. I have to say things haven't changed much. If you have to own one trivia game this year... No wait... If you have to have one trivia game on any console you owe it to yourself to pick up You Dont Know Jack.

tintin_coverThe Adventures of Tintin is based on the recent movie, which is based on a comic strip, which was published from the 1920s to the 1970s. Tintin is a reporter, and along with his dog Snowy and other champions he traverses the globe looking for adventure. I’ve always been a fan of the graphic novels and the mid 90s animated series. This game pays homage to the movie but its good enough that fans of the books should enjoy it too.
 

NBA Jam for the Wii Review: Kicking it old school!

Boom Shakalalaa! Most gamers who grew up in the 1990s fondly remember NBA Jam from arcades and the days of the Genesis/SNES. I remember staying up late in the mid 90s and playing with my friends until my hands cramped up. For the last few years, ever since the Dreamcast, I really haven’t found a casual basketball game like NBA Jam. Then as of last year, thanks to EA, gamers can relive their youth.
