Super Stardust HD is a frenetic twin-stick shooter in the vein of Geometry Wars. It's an excellent game for short sessions or gaming marathons; the gameplay is obstensibly simple but has layers and depth that are unexpected. It's part of Sony's Welcome Back Program, and if it's not already a part of your collection you should seriously consider it.

GoozerNation's own Craig Will and I took some time recently to tear through the surprisingly fun Lost Planet 2, currently available for cheap on Goozex.com.
After a brief prologue in snowy regions reminiscent of the series' first entry, the game shifts to jungle and rainforest environments overgrown with vines and trees. Level design is usually extremely linear, which can be restrictive but also serves to focus the action. The grappling hook offers some opportunities for variety in level design, but often it's up to the player to use it creatively to get the drop on enemies. It works similarly to the grappling hook from Just Cause 2, but without quite the range or violence potential.
