The industry has been making games for more than a decade, and many of the games we get nowadays are sequels or remakes, but not all deserving games are remade or given a sequel. Here's a list of games that fell through the cracks.
- System Shock -
Before you say Bioshock was a remake, let me say that it doesn't count. If the industry can produce three Doom games they should be able to give us one more System Shock game. I played this game relentlessly in high school, it was one of the most interesting FPS games I had ever played and it still is. A real mash up of RPG and FPS made this game unique, and the story is really creepy. Some people may say Dead Space is the closest to a new System Shock that we'll get, although Dead space is an excellent game, it can't compare to what System Shock was.

- Maniac Mansion -
I could list every late 80s and early 90s Lucas Arts game on this list, but only one game is sacred among point-and-click adventure nerds: Maniac Mansion with its crazy scientists, eerie tentacles, and group of college students is an excellent example of a killer story that deserves a true remake. Since there was a new Monkey Island remake for XBLA, many people are wondering if we will see more HD remakes of Lucas Arts games?
