With the upcoming launch of the 3DS, there is talk of a Virtual Console for Game Boy games coming out. I have heard nothing of the roster of games; I suppose we will have to wait and see. Right now, though, I still have my classic green-tint Game Boy Brick and have found myself using Goozex to locate some of my classic favorites that harken back to my childhood. Come along, as I share my wishlist of what I want to come out if the 3DS starts original a Game Boy service. This list is dependent on them doing a thorough job of bringing my favorite titles to the market.

The Super Mario Land Series: Both of these are classics in their own right. The first one took Mario WAY out of his comfort zone, battling Tatanga in a far off Egyptianish land. In that world, fireballs bounced constantly at right angles and Mario occasionally piloted a submarine and an airplane. The game provided a huge challenge and something fresh for the series. I wonder if Tatanga or even Wart will ever join the Mario Sports rosters...

In Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins, I felt that the series tried a bunch of unique things. This is where Wario was born and he was scary (before he got so insanely greedy). Unique powerups like the bunny ears added a special flair and the levels were definitely memorable. It was a wildly long game for a portable system as well.

F1 Race: I enjoyed this game, but never as much as when I found three other people with it to link up. The first true four-player Game Boy experience. Taunting your opponents from around the table was priceless. It had a good variety of tracks for the time as well. The cameos by random Nintendo folk were another neat addition.
