wii marioThe Wii is on its last days and the future release list is short. But fear not fellow gamers, this Nintendo system still has its uses. The Wii is primarily known for its robust first party gaming library featuring Zelda and Marioalt but the Virtual Console is where its at. Granted the PS3 and the 360 both have a decent selection of classic games, but the Wii has the best selection.

hourglassGames like Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur and Mass Effect are great games. Games such as these have long stories, great character development, and at least 40 hours of game play. Can a modern gamer find the time to play RPGs or other lengthy games while playing the other new releases? Or are they better off sticking to the short games?

Sonic has made some odd appearances in games such as Shining Force II, the Simpsons Game, Phantasy Star Universe, as well as many others. Sonic games have sold over 80 million copies. Sonic has appeared on a lot of different consoles such as the Genesis, 360, Wii and Master System. He has also appeared on iOS, in the arcade, on the N-Gage, and the Game.com. As the mascot of Sega, Sonic is the most popular character in gaming right behind Mario. Not all of his games have been good, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic and the Secret Rings are just a few games that were not up to par. How about a breakdown of the top 5 Sonic games?
