Duke Nukem Forever to be Delayed by 45 Minutes

In the grand tradition of delays and cancellations, the upcoming Duke Nukem Forever will be released at 12:45 am on the scheduled release date of May 3rd, June 14th, 2011, 45 minutes after the originally planned release time of midnight.

Developer Gearbox released an official statement: "As hard as we tried, we are going to be unable to make the traditional release time of midnight on release day.  We apologize for this inconvenience."  The quote was given at a press conference to which Gearbox was 20 minutes late.

The official statement also went on to apologize for the unusually long load and installation times that will be present in the finished game, citing an unexplainable inability to eliminate these delays.
