The Final Fantasy Challenge part 3 and 2/2: We need to go deeper.
Written by Josh Hurley Wednesday, 22 February 2012 12:00

When I last left off, I was making horrible jokes about the Earth Rod.
That said, we need to return to the Earth Cavern and go farther down.
Now, I did take screenshots of this section, but there's no point in talking about going through the same section again, so....TIME TRAVEL!

Using the Earth Rod in the giant stone blockage, it magically turns into stairs.
Told you.
Anyway, going farther down the rabbit hole, we get to the boss of this cave, and the main reason we are here.
That's the crystal in the Crystal of Earth. That circle-thing? That's an entirely different thing.
This guy is the reason that Melmond's plant life is dying. (Oh, by the way: The reason I'm here is because Melmond's plant life is dying. I forgot to screencrap that. I'm working on it, I swear.)
And here we go.
Lich is possibly the hardest boss in the game yet. That said, it went about 5 rounds. I was almost worried for a second.
Beating Lich unlocks an extra dungeon. Don't worry, we'll be back here at a later update.
And on that note, this wraps up this update. PROMOTIONS!
