Spelunker HD Arrives on the EU PlayStation Store

On August 10^th Tozai games will launch Spelunker HD on Europe’s PlayStation Store.  Spelunker will combine EU and US leaderboards and allow EU and US players to game together!  After all of the awards Spelunker has received, such as Best of 2010 award from JC Fletcher of Joystiq, European gamers must be happy to be able to purchase this title!

Spelunker was first released in 1983, and has been kept alive with ports and remakes all the way up to now.  Spelunker HD will cost €9.99. Playstation Plus members will receive a 20% promotional discount for two weeks following release.

The goal of Spelunker is to navigate from Point A to Point B in a Labyrinth.  Along the way, you may pick up all sorts of power ups and even operate machinery equipment.  And, should you want to play the game from a different perspective, a 2D option will be available.
