Catherine Delayed on Amazon

Today is a big day for gamers.  Catherine is the most original game I’ve played in a long time.  Unfortunately, my copy, as well as many others, has had shipping delays with Amazon.  Many who have pre ordered with release date shipping have received emails informing them that their game has not yet shipped or is shipping today.

As I eagerly awaited the UPS man to arrive at my house, minutes turned to hours.  Before calling anybody to complain, I figured I would stumble around the Amazon forums.  There were several threads on this very topic there.  One example can be found here.

So, Amazon.com did something it very rarely does: they let customers down.  However, this delay should only be a day or two.  Until then, I’m sure we can all find one game to poke around in.  Me personally, I may just continue my 100^th playthrough of Metal Gear Solid 4.
