Next Mass Effect 3 Bounty Weekend Announced: Operation Silencer

In the previous bounty weekend, Operation Exorcist, the goal was to kill one million Cerberus Phantoms. In the first challenge weekend, the goal was to kill one million Brutes. These goals have not only been reached by the community each time, but they have killed a lot more than enough. It looks like BioWare is making it more challenging this time with Operation Silencer and upping the amount to three million. Are you ready to do your part?
Operation Silencer details:
“Cerberus defectors have verified key intel on Reaper banshees to help provide us a vulnerability to exploit. Banshees are created from a specific kind of asari that cannot be replaced quickly, so we are diverting forces to focus on an all-out banshee extermination effort.
This task is an onerous one, and many of you are right to dread contact with these particular foes, but rest assured that we are prepared to reinforce your battalion with reserves. The vorcha want in, and as soon as they complete combined-arms training with our technically-skilled personnel, we will let them loose.”
The allied goal is to kill 3 million banshees. The squad goal is to survive a full extraction on any map against any enemy on gold difficulty.
Operation Silencer will begin on Friday, May 11 at 6:00PM PST and end on Monday, May 14, at 5:00PM PST. This operation will be available on Xbox360, PC, and finally the PlayStation 3. PlayStation 3 players may not see the promotion screen, but they will still be able to participate.
