Unanswered Questions About GTA V

gta5By now most gamers have heard that Rockstar is planning to release GTA V in the near future. A short trailer has been released and it looks good. It looks like the city is alive and there’s lots to do. But there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

The trailer teased what the game could have. It was just long enough to draw me in and make me wonder. The biggest question on my mind is if GTA V is going to be more like GTA San Andreas and less like GTA IV? I love the GTA games and with each new one comes new ideas. Vice City had a bigger world and an 80s Scarface theme. San Andreas gave gamers mutli player, a huge world, tons of customization and a story straight from the 90s. I spent hours in San Andreas tinkering with the cars and roaming the giant world, a blend of city and countryside.

It seems most of the fans of the series would like a new game that has elements of San Andreas in it. A semi-open world with multiple environments. Don’t get me wrong, GTA IV was a fun game that pushed the franchise in new directions. Who can forget the crazy multi player races through the subway? My friends and I also enjoyed rocket battles at the airport.

Another big question for Rockstar, is there going to be multi player in GTA V? I think we can assume this. How about some sort of co-op mode like in Saints Row? Will players be able to go into a lot more buildings? Can the story have multiple arcs instead of a 30+ hour, one character focus? So many questions about the upcoming game; hopefully Rockstar will release more information soon.

What are the biggest changes they are bringing to the game? Is Rockstar going to go for the realistic feel or is the focus going to be on fun? Where does the series go from number IV? No matter what questions gamers have on their minds one thing is for certain, love or hate the series, the next Grand Theft Auto game will sell a lot of games.
