Mass Effect has become a major selling point for the Xbox 360. Even though the game has gone multiplatform, many still hold tight to the Xbox version simply because the first one was an exclusive and thier saved character cannot cross platforms. Amazon joins some other retailers who are doing a promotion where you can get Mass Effect 3 for free if you purchase a new 360 console.

Looks like Gamestop has another great opportunity for trade in credit. They are offering $225 TIC for PS3s. Outside of a working system, gamers must also have a controller and the hookups.

Say what you will about Gamestop but they are offering $140 TIC for your old Xbox 360. Outside of a working system, gamers must also have a controller and the hookups. No reason to give them the hard drive.
