GameStop's April B2G1 Sale

gsGamestop is running another B2G1 sale to clear shelves. This time it's a B2G1 sale on on used PSP/PS2/GC games. This starts on April 24th and Goozernation’s got a list of games that might be worth picking up.

draculaFor the PSP, there is a ton of games worth tracking down. Most of them are less than $10 at this point. Games like Jeanne D'arc, Gurumin, Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Final Fantasy Tactics, FFXII Crisis Core, Phantasy Star Portable 2, God of War, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, LocoRoco, and Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. Gamers cannot go wrong with Capcom Classic Collection Reloaded, Remixed or any of the other compilations games such as MegaMan Powered Up.  While you’re at it, you might as well snag the Powerstone Collection. This is a great sale to round off a PSP collection no matter what you are looking for.

animalThe GameCube also has a large library of affordable games these days as well. The prices are anywhere from $10 or less and up. The must haves include Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Rogue Squadron II, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, any of the DK games, Fire Emblem, any of the Resident Evil games, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker, Eternal Darkness. Paper Mario, Wave Race: Blue Storm, Animal Crossing, and the list goes on and on. Some of the compilation collections are also on the PS2, such as the Midway Arcade Treasures 2 and 3, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, and Sonic Mega Collection. I wanted to track down Pikmin but its cheaper on the Wiialt right now. Some of these games will be tougher to find vs. the games mentioned for PSP.

And who can forget the PS2? There are so many cheap games it’s going to be tough to recommend just a few. If it was me, I’d try to find games such as GrimGrimoire, any of the Ratchet and Clank series, any of the games in the Jax series, Okami, Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil 4, FF X, Persona 3, and Dragon Quest 7. If you can find them cheap, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are good pickups. But you may be better off getting the HD collection on a next gen system. God of War and DMC 1/2/3 are good pick ups as well if they are cheap enough, say less than $7. The same goes for any of the Metal Gear Solid games. Gamers cannot go wrong with picking up GTA Vice City or San Andreas. If you like music games, a sale like this is perfect to get the Guitar Hero games.

So fellow gamers what will you be buying? Any recommendations?
