Pre-Order Diablo III CE for $85

As of this week Blizzard finally announced Diablo III is coming out on May 15th. Gamers have been waiting for this day for 12 years. In anticipation of this legendary release, Buy.com is running a pre-order sale on the Collector’s Edition of Diablo III.

Buy.com has Diablo II for the pre-order price of $85. To get the game this cheap, first time users of Buy.com will have to use a $15 off $75 coupon. So far Amazon is still selling the game at full price. Buy.com is also offering 10x reward points which nets gamers $8.50 off a future purchase.

The CE of Diablo III is packed with goodies. There is a behind the scenes, 2 disc dvd/blu-ray, a Diablo skull and 4GB USB soulstone flash drive which contains the full versions of Diablo II and Diablo II Lord of Destruction. That alone should send gamers running to find their wallets. Gamers will also receive the Diablo III soundtrack, a World of Warcraft pet fetish Shaman, Starcraft II Battle.net portraits, a 200+ page Diablo III art book, and Diablo II Aesthetic Artifacts for the game. This is a lot of content for a Collector’s Edition, especially when the game is going to be PC only for now. I was sold on getting the CE due to the artbook, the behind the scenes dvd, and the free copy of Diablo II. Its going to be hard to not pre-order the game at $85.
