xbl Looks like Buy.com has two good deals on a year of Xbox Live Gold. Gamers can pick from two bundles, the messenger starter pack that includes a year of XBL Gold or the second bundle, which is a year of XBL Gold and includes five free XBLA games. Both bundles are $49.99.

Normally people pay around $60 MSRP for a year's subscription of XBL Gold. Some gamers are lucky and they can find it for less. The starter pack comes with the chatpad, headset and 400 pts and this normally sells for around $74. The XBL Gold subscription from Buy.com includes 5 XBLA games, Lode Runner, Aqua, Snoopy Flying Aces, the Maw, and R-type Dimensions. New customers to Buy.com can use a $10 off coupon, which would make the price on either bundle around $40. Better hurry though, the five free XBLA games expire on March 21st.

If nothing else you can give the XBLA games away to a friend or family member. You could also trade them on Goozex where they go for 100 pts apiece. At the end of the day aboth deals are good for gamers who need 12 months of XBLA.
