Hello. I’m Kevin Chow and am the PC Games Contributor for GoozerNation.
I have been a gamer ever since early childhood. I remember playing games that were on 5.25-inch floppy disks. My first console was Nintendo. As I was growing up, I had other consoles like SNES and PlayStation. It wasn’t until the PC became a major gaming platform before I played less consoles and more PC. That was back in the days of Doom, Warcraft II, and the original Command and Conquer.
Games have really evolved since then. After a while, I decided to try something new, which was MMO’s. I played Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, Tabula Rasa, Aion, Warhammer Online, Eve Online, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. MMO’s were a whole different thing for me. It might sound silly to play a game that has no ending, but there is just something about it that makes me want to keep playing.
Besides writing and gaming, I am also a web designer/developer. I learned all the code myself from books and online tutorials. When I learned PHP, I already had some programming experience from taking programing classes in college. I ended up studying multimedia and created my own Flash game for a class project called Wings of Freedom. Today, I’m working on my own CG projects and hope to work in the gaming industry in the future.
