Enigmata 2: Genu's Revenge (http://www.kongregate.com/) starts off on a good note with new music (no pun intended), and goes right into a new and improved game. Enigmata 2--a Flash game you can play on the PC--keeps up the pace by introducing an overly upgraded game from the original. One of the first noticeable gameplay upgrade is the increased range of freedom while flying. No longer is the player's ship bound to shooting in one direction. This new feature will satisfy those meticulous gamers who have to kill everything.
Other noticeable features are an upgraded interface, a new level-up system that gives benefits upon experience and an improved tutorial option. Even after this, perhaps one of the best new features is the slot feature located on the bottom of the screen. Now players can save up certain bonuses and collect skills to use strategically throughout the game. New skills can be purchased in the store according to level and money restrictions.
For those who enjoyed the original game, Enigmata 2 still makes gamers happy with the ability to purchase new ships and countless of aftermarket weapons and power upgrades. Enigmata 2's developers went the extra mile in creating a highly successful sequel.
Overall, everything not only is upgraded, but many new features make this game an even better game than the original. The only apparent flaws might be the in-game music. The main menu's piece is excellent and has a decent theme, but so far, the music while playing often resembles something from Cascada. Other than this however, no major flaws were noticeable; just a clean, and highly involved product.
