Cole Burton, SolidSnake

Hey everybody, My name is Cole Burton, I'm from Illinois, and I have been a hardcore gamer for as long as I can remember. I love animals, especially dogs. I currently have two Chihuahua and I used to have a dalmation, but she passed away about 2 years ago. I also love sports, I am a big baseball and football fan. As for video games, I can play anything from simple minded games to games with complicated storylines. My favorite video game series is, has, and always will be Metal Gear Solid.

I first got into video games when I was really young, my first console was the Atari 2600 my parents had. After countless nights of me and my sister beating my old man at Pacman we all knew it was time to get some real consoles. We ended up getting a Nintendo 64, a Super Nintendo, and a PSone. One day after I had gotten tired of playing mario for what seemed like forever, I opened up my box of games. About the only one I hadn't played was Metal Gear Solid. What can I say, a plain white cover didn't impress my young mind. After popping it in,and playing what may have been my first violent game I fell in love, playing that game countless times. Years later,I would see a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty sitting in a store in a neighboring town called Computer World. After a few weeks I had talked my parents into buying a ps2 and Metal Gear Solid 2 there. Now, my PS2 collection is Huge and I have just about every edition of every Metal Gear Game (Greatest hits, Original, Limited, Special, you name it). I even bought a gamecube just for one game, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Same goes with a Dreamcast and Bleem! for Metal Gear Solid!

Anyway, enough about Metal Gear. Today I have a PS3, PS2, PSone, PSP, Xbox 360, GameCube, DS, GBA SP, GBA, GBC, GB Pocket, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, and an Atari 2600. Soon I plan on getting a Wii even though it doesn't appeal to me very well. In addition to Metal Gear, I love the Uncharted games, the Call of Duty games, and I used to be a big Halo fan, but not so much ever since Call of Duty 4.

The last thing I have to ramble on about is the anime I like. I love the anime Case Closed, or as it's known as in Japan, Detective Conan. I own every DVD with the exception of the four new movies. I also love the Lupin the 3rd T.V. show, but the movies were crap. Fullmetal Alchemist and Inuyasha are also some of my favorites. I bought most of the DVDs in the series. Adult swim just plain sucks these days, it has no good shows anymore. Does anyone eles out there remember the good old days with Futurama, Family Guy, Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Case Closed, and Lupin the 3rd? That was a perfect lineup.
