The Big Game is this Sunday—what are you going feed your friends? You're going to have to do a little better than Easy Cheez and Ritz if you want your big viewing party to be a hit, but we got you covered. Check out these simple and delicious recipes to get you on your way to Epic Party status.
Colossal Crab Dip
Blend about 1 cup of sour cream with 1 cup of mayonnaise. Add in some shredded crab meat (imitation is fine), some shredded cheese, and a few chopped onions and celery. Mix it all up, add seasonings to taste, and serve with crackers—aren't you fancy?
Super Layers Taco Dip
Spread the bottom of a casserole dish with a layer of refried beans. Top this with one half pound of prepared taco meat (hamburger browned with taco seasoning) and one cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Pop this in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let it cool a few minutes, then spread on a layer of sour cream. Top this with a few dollops of salsa and about a half a cup of shredded cheese, and serve with tortilla chips. Easy and impressive!
The Ever Popular Onion Dip
Super simple potato chip dip. Blend 16 oz of sour cream with 1 packet of dry onion soup mix. You can use regular or the French variety. Serve with some ripple chips for dipping and get out of the way of the hungry fans.
If you want to go for the extra point, serve them some sweets too—what hungry football fan wouldn't want these brownies?
Easiest Brownies Ever
Dump all this into a bowl and mix it together: 2 c. sugar,1 3/4 c. flour,5 eggs,1 tsp salt,1 c. oil,1 tsp vanilla,1/2 c. cocoa. Dump it all into a greased bar pan and spread it out. Sprinkle the top with chocolate chips—don't be afraid to get creative. You can use chocolate chunk, mint chocolate chips, peanut butter chips—whatever. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes and let the party begin.
